‘Cropped' tells the story of a group of UFO enthusiasts on the hunt for proof of extraterrestrial existence at the site of one of rural Britain's mysterious crop circles. As events unfold and night falls, the group are forced to set their differences aside when the mystery of the crop circles is revealed.

Chris Thomas is a film and commercials director from London.Marrying beautiful imagery and a unique style of cinematic storytelling, Chris's strong visual emphasis on narrative filmmaking carries over to his commercial work, with a focus on atmospheric emotive tales that resonate with his audience.Chris's work has been critically acclaimed. His short film, The Water's Edge was up for numerous awards across the globe, including the prestigious Camerimage Festival, NFFTY in Seattle, Festival du Cinéma Britannique, and the London Short film festival. He then went onto making ‘The Nightman of Nevermoor' which is currently touring the festival circuit along with his latest short film ‘CROPPED' which has recently been screened at Berlinale, The London International Sci-fi Film Festival, & picking up a Roger Deakin's nomination at this years Plymouth Film Festival. Chris' break into commercials came through working 2nd unit for directors such as Oscar winner Tom Hooper and Oscar-nominated Henry-Alex Rubin. He's then gone on to directing commercials of his own for clients such as BBC, BT Sport, and Discovery.Chris is currently working on toward shooting his first feature film, which he's looking to shoot during the Autumn 2017.
