Morag Livingstone has an eclectic, portfolio career: an investigative journalist, award winning film maker, a published author (UK and France), editor in visual and written communications, tutor and lecturer. Working closely with a range of organisations from news, corporate, government, medical and not-for-profit she understands the need for effective communications, maintaining audience attention and keeping focused on the key elements of the story for that audience always asking, why would this audience care about this topic? After gaining an Honours degree in Business Studies from Robert Gordon's University in Aberdeen, and 15 years in the corporate sector, where she worked globally in the Oil, Telecoms, IT and Commodities industries, based both in the UK and Zambia, and latterly as Commercial Director for a US telecoms company, Morag elected to combine the creative with corporate. In 2005, Morag attained a Masters Degree in Photojournalism and Documentary Photography from the London University of the Arts, the same course on which she is now a staff lecturer and tutor in multimedia storytelling. Subsequently, through her company www.livingstone-media.com, she has produced a number of effective and award winning communications in the Development and Corporate sectors. Morag has co-authored two best selling books, Hackney Child (Jan 2014) and Tainted Love (July 2014) both by Simon and Schuster. Morag has recently completed, to critical acclaim, a personal project and feature documentary: Belonging The Truth Behind the Headlines. Ken Loach describes the film as "Terrific … make sure you see this film".
